“Where the eye is focused, there the imagination finds its raw material. The right focus must be won at immense cost and discipline. Train the eye to see the good, and the imagination will follow suit.” ~ Ravi Zacharias
why does it always seems that i’m never doing enough or the right thing.

All that’s going through my mind are cheesy love songs (some from the 80’s. srsly).
I love having him with me.
We’ve worked out a few problems/issues we’ve had, and things are even better between us. It’s been a really hard summer for the both of us – especially since we didn’t see each other during those 3mo. But we made it through. We persevered. And we’re still together. Some relationships I’ve seen (thanks facebook) have disintegrated over the summertime, and as sadistic as it sounds, it makes me even happier that Jake and I were able to communicate and be patient with each other.
The reward is truly so much greater than the hardships.
And we’re not even married yet!
How much greater will this all be once we’ve publicly announced our love for each other!
I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with him.
Throughout our relationship, I’ve been able to see the face of God numerous times – patience, love, forgiveness, passion, devotion, trust, faith, etc. It’s amazing how much is poured into us when we start to pour ourselves into someone else. I’ve never been so happy or energized. It’s the same with God, too (and I’m not saying my boo is the Almighty) – He pours out so much and gives us such life when we become vulnerable and give Him ourselves – totally and fully.
I’m so excited for the future and what will happen.
