Things are Growing
We took a Labour day weekend trip to Virginia this past weekend, and it was so nice. It was the first trip of the summer where there was no other purpose attached to it. It was so nice to just get away from the town and drama… Sometimes I feel like ‘The Hills’ happen in small towns surrounded by nothing and mountains. Just like Relient K said, ‘A small town is a small stage for teenagers and their dramas.’
The church site has been going extremely well, and I plan to unveil it either this weekend or next. I’ll then be at another job for another company. This will be different, however, as I’ll actually be paid this time. Don’t get me wrong, I love doing this for my church, and they *did* give me over half of my funds for my England trip; but I wish I had a little something-something to show for it aside from a screenshot in my portfolio.
Speaking of my portfolio, I’ve put a lot of pictures in there from camp and a few screenshots of images and of a few flowers, too. It’s interesting how a lot of my style has changed since a year or two ago. I’m hoping to get some pictures printed from my England trip and put them in there soon. My portfolio is really growing, and it’s really exciting to see it come together.
I’m so tired. Emotionally, mentally, and physically drained.
