Twitter me this, Batman!
I’ve recently become addicted to Twitter. :inlove: And while I don’t use my account for ‘What are you doing at this exact moment, Rachel?’ It’s still pretty cool.
I’ve also added a new section in the last sidebar with maybe a dozen or so links of other sites I take part in–myspace, last.fm, vox, etc.
I was watching Monsters Inc. with my brother this morning, and I came up with a theory on disappearing socks and how their disappearance is not caused by the washing machine.
I think that during the night, monsters come to visit us through the closet doors, and like Frank the monster, socks get stuck to their bodies. Because of the extreme severity of monsters coming in contact with kids, the CDA (Child Detection Agency) must kill all substances. In short, our socks get stuck to monsters, and the socks then get vaporized.
And who, pray-tell, is the reigning Pixar enthusiast? :batman:
I found out that I’m not really behind in my studies and French like I thought I was.
I’m hoping to get ahead this month, but some of the books are intimidating. :meh: It’s quite a blessing knowing that I’m not behind seeing as how I’m still sick and I might miss a couple days due to my lack of energy.
The Quilting Bee has a new Valentine’s day event going on, and I’m getting all my pixel valentines ready.
I’ve received a few and later tonight (hopefully), I’ll add them to my quilt page. I was also named ‘Bee of the Week‘!
My aunt really surprised me this past Saturday while I was watching the Scrubs marathon on Comedy central.
She called and here’s the conversation-
‘Rachel, I heard you wanted to get a cell phone!’
‘Yeah, I’ve been wanting one for a while, but I’m broke *sad face formed*’
‘Your mom was talking to me about it, and you can go ahead and get your own cell phone. I’ll pay for it and your plan. Order whatever phone you want, and I’ll take care of the bill. :)’
How awesome is that?! It’s definitely an answer to prayer. I’ve been needing a cell phone for a while, but our financial status hasn’t allowed me said pleasure. My plan (formulated at the beginning of December) was to get a job and then earn the money for my cell phone and the minutes, but I couldn’t get a job (and I still can’t) because of my recent muscle disorder relapse. No one would hire a kid who gets tired from just standing for a couple minutes. I gave up on the whole plan, but this is absolutely amazing. As shallow as it sounds, I’ve been praying for a cell phone (and a car), and God really does provide!
So who else watched the Monk marathon on USA network yesterday instead of the superbowl? Am I the only one who wasn’t interested in who won? ![]()

Hey Rachel
Hope you’re feeling better!
Oh, Monsters Inc. is a wonderful movie. It’s one of my favorite Pixar films. I even asked for it for Christmas last year…
I’ve been so lax about Q*bee stuff recently, I just haven’t had the motivation to do some good pixeling. I’ll have to go and have a look at your’s when I’m done with this, however, your’s are always so cute.
Lucky about the cell phone, that was really nice of your aunt. Do you know what kind you’ll get yet? I’m not exactly up to speed on the newest and latest phones but I can spot a cool looking one when I see one
lol, instead of watching the super bowl… I was playing a computer game. I didn’t even know who was playing in the super bowl until today at school when everyone and their mom was talking about who won.
