Let’s See how Many I can Do
Is it just me…
Or is American Idol just really getting sad? And by sad, I mean, sad on talent and how cruel the words have been becoming.
Or apparently it’s not cool to look your age? I’m sick of all of these kids younger than me looking older. Apparently they didn’t get the post it that said it’s ok to be a kid and dress that way.
Or is school just really dragging along? I can’t wait for another break, and I’m just too lazy now to really deal with the stuff I know I should be dealing with: French, Bible, SAT’s.
Or is having that long-lost friend come back and be friends with you not an awesome feeling one of the coolest feelings (grr. I’m definitely in need of something caffein-ated)? I missed my older ‘brother.’ Definitely some good insiders and ADD moments were had by all.
  :inlove:
All the emotions I currently possess at 10:29pm summed up in 15×11 pixels.
I’m going to go get some yogurt.

Oh, I know! Kids nowadays really do look older than me sometimes. Or they think I look younger. Wth? Go take advantage now while it lasts! haha

I hate it when little kids dress older. Like when I see 10 year olds going into American Eagle and Hollister… when I was ten I bought clothes at kiddy stores, like limited too and stuff, not stores for teenagers.
I never watched American Idol only because I thought it was stupid.

My thoughts exactly, on all the topics, but especially with reconnecting with a long lost best friend not exactly being fun. It drives me crazy to deal with those feelings. I have reconnected with about 10 friends who I lived near in Korea, D.C., Virginia, and here in Germany, which is definitely a blessing. Yet… we all have changed so much, and as much as I would like to still be best friends, what really connected us no longer exists. I think some people enter another’s life because that person needs someone at that time. Perhaps she is depressed and needs someone to cheer her up, or needs someone who can show her life beyond superficiality, or needs someone to help her in any other way, and when those problems or life experiences are over, the friend likely will slowly go away as well. The friendship is not gone, but the connection is. If you know what I mean?

You’re lucky that in America there is such a huge pool of people for American Idol to have lasted so long without getting too sad. Lol. Australian idol became pretty lame after the first season. Not enough variety…

Well, the “bright” TV show folks behind the show do it on purpose - show all the talentless hacks and freaks (and that’s an understatement, considering the parade of bizarre, obviously mentally deranged people that have been on recently) for shock & entertainment value. It’s only funny up to a certain point, then you start worrying about the mental health of the population and whatever is in the drinking water of those cities.

In my personal opinion, yeah American Idol has lost it’s charm. I mean, most people just watch each season to see the horrible singers and they really don’t care until probably the last 4 are on? And now a days, that’s how people get their 15 seconds of fame. And don’t get me started on the friends thing. I could write a whole book on that…

I’ve never been an American Idol fan, but the tryouts are so funny haha. You know the producers talk to the horribly talented people and tell them to go tryout, sad but it makes good tv. School is dragging to me too, I can’t for my next break haha.
