New Layout and Journaling

I’m actually quite happy for myself. :) I figured out what some of my Christmas presents are going to be for some of the hardest people, my family. I finally know what I’m getting my family for Christmas, and heck yes to me for not leaving it till the last minute. w00t.

I have a new layout up… There’s actually been a lot of changes code-wise. Everything should be really nice in all the themes; new plug-ins installed, pages updated; yay-ness. I’ve also finished the 12 book challenge, so yay for me. :reallyblushing:

I don’t exactly have much to say… I’ve been journaling more in my written journal than here. After reading The Prestige, I’ve really seen the importance of writing a journal. Rupert Angier, one of the magicians, kept his journal since he was ten until the day he died. He then left his journal for his offspring to read. I’d like to be able to do that with myself: daily journal in my written journal, so I could give it to my child to read.

Today is Halloween. Ha, I don’t exactly celebrate this holiday, but I am going to watch the classics: Corpse Bride, Wallace & Grommit: Curse of the Were-Rabit, Charlie Brown… Yay for classic children’s movies making my day complete!

Already Decided

I know I’m only a juniour, and I’ve got “plenty of time” to think about where I’m going ot college; but I finally found the perfect one for me!

Through Word of Life, I already have 2 $500 scholarships to the college, and I’ll be able to earn to more this year and in my seniour. That was the majour thing I was looking for: what schools did I already have a scholarship for? The second was what kind of art program do they have.

I am so excited about this college. I already requested a catalogue from them. This is one college where I’m feeling the most amount of drive or passion to go to. I haven’t exactly felt this way about the other colleges I’ve said about going to. I really do think this is the one God wants me to go to after I go to the Bible Institute. :D

I’m planning on going to Grace college in Indiana. I looked at their academics, and I can get a Bachelors of science in graphics design and I might even minor in psychology. I’m so excited because this is the first Christian college I’ve seen where they offer a nice program in what I want to majour in, and my dad is really loving this college, too! A lot of the books on his shelf come from Grace’s professors, so it’s a really nice school.

Aside from the scholarships I have from Word of Life, I can also get scholarships for being homeschooled, too! :D :D How awesome is that? The lowest scholarship they offer is around $12k, but with my average, I could get one around $20k! Their tuition is around $24k a year, so… Scholarships and Grace and the fact I can get a homeschoolers one… It just all amounts to why I want to go. :P

I’ve never been so excited about this subject before. I really do feel like this is the college for me. Now, that I have a scholarship goal to aim for, I can really start working on my grades and not getting a majourity of B’s. I’m so excited, though. Less than two more years, and I’ll finally be taught in doing things that I love.

READ THIS…. Or Else!

Seriously, I think my Myspace is filled with those type of bulletins. :meh: It’s crazy because even though people know they’re chain mails, they still post them anyway, feeding the big chain mail monster.

“Repost this or else you’ll have a bad love life for the next 7 years!”

“Repost this or else you’ll have bad luck for the next 4 days!”

“Repost this or else the worst thing you can imagine will happen to you!”

Shawna pointed it out to me that all of that ^^ can also be considered threatening mail and can be reported. I didn’t realize it until she told me, but it’s true: You have to do this.. or else. :blank:
