And so I’ve noticed I’m in a rut of blogging on the same two days of the week: Monday and Thursday. Why? I don’t know, yet I”m adding to the rut-ness of blogging once again on a Monday.
Word of Life just sent me another letter concerning my application for a missions trip to England and guess who just got accepted for that trip?!? :couple2: Oh yeah. It’s me. W00tness to the max. I’M GOING TO ENGLAND! I’m so excited for it, these mere keyboard typed words just can’t contain it. I loved the trip I took to France this past summer, but there were so many self-inflicted things that made it seem less enjoyable than it could have been. :reallyashamed: I’m ready to learn more and do more, and gosh, I’m so excited!
So it’s just like usual how the panic attacked Rachel gets incredibly nervous a week before I’m actually performing. I’m playing special music for my church this upcoming Sunday, and I’m totally confident in the piece I have. I’ve practiced my hardest; I’m at my peak; yet I’m nervous as anything. The main problem I’m facing now is that I’m getting worried a week in advance. I think ever musician has a good case of nerves, but this is ridiculous. It’ll be like any other performance I’ve done, so why am I so nervous?

ENGLAND?! That’s so great! I would love to go to Europe, but it’s all so expensive. Even the plane tickets are a lot of money! When are you going? I’d say something like, “Hopefully not during their rainy season,” but this is England and it will definitely rain when you’re there. Haha. Have fun, though!
And don’t be nervous about performing. If you’re confident and you know the piece you’re doing inside and out, you have nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Ohh, going to England sounds like it would be fantastic! Congratulations on getting accepted! And I hope you can survive the nerves to play well–it’s never the actual performance that’s bad, just the waiting time up to it. I’m sure you’ll do great!

I don’t think Xposure is going that well, anyway. I’m still on the ‘Pending Members List’ along with over 30 other people. =\ I, too, am starting to favor Despair and Exentrique. At least they keep track with their sites.
Anyway, that’s great about England. I’d love to go to go anywhere in Europe!
Thanks for your comment, too :veryhappy:
