Oh, Firefox, How I’ve Missed Thee

No matter how old I’ll ever get,
No matter who I’ll be with,
No matter where I live,
I’ll always be deathly afraid of thunderstorms.

Seriously, aside from our shed, I can’t stand huge storms. We had one this past Tuesday night, and one thunderbolt (or lightening bolt, I don’t know… I didn’t exactly plan to stand next to the window and stare at it to determine what it was exactly) literally shook the house. And I literally ran. :argh: I’m just not good with huge storms like that… And that storm ultimately caused the demise of our modem. No internet for the past two days…

My albums came… Around 7:5pm at night thanks to UPS. :biteme: Ordering from Barnes & Noble and UPS just don’t seem to be my favouritest thing right about now… It took them 4days to just take my albums off their shelves, put them in a box and send them to me. :meh: Ugh… I’m just not going to order from them again.

I did find a new love, though. A Creative Zen Micro Photo 8GB MP3 Player. My ipod is dying, and like I told Malcolm, I’m so old school with my mini. :P That’s only $180, and I’ll get 400% more space than on my 4GB ipod mini. I’ll also be able to work with more players (which deserves a big w00t), store photos on it and ultimately just has a better battery. The next one up is 30GB and it’s $270, only a hundred dollars more; and I’ll be able to play videos and have 22GB more space. So which one should I covet? Really, I’m just wondering how often I’ll be playing videos on the one or if I can even get videos I want on it. Most likely, I’ll buy the 8GB one. :music:

  • I love storms! I love watching the lightening especially. lol. :veryhappy:

  • I hate storms too. I’m so afraid of them.

Wow. a creative zen. I just got an MP3 player, but it’s only 2GB. But I still love it. I have like so many videos on it, and like 200 songs. lol

  • Oh, I love thunder and lightning! I think it’s so cool that it can be REALLY dark outside, and suddenly, for just a second, the entire night sky lights up. I will admit, though…I could do without all the rumbly noises.

As for the new mp3 player, I say go for it. I’ve had a Creative Labs mp3 player for almost 2 years, and it’s AMAZING. You can fit so much more on them than you can on an iPod (even if the space available is the same), and they’re much more compatible than iPods…oh, and they’re cheaper! Cheaper is good!
