It’s amazing how everytime I play soccer, I always manage to get hurt in some way or another. It happened in community soccer, happened in France, happened here. :meh: Meh, at least I’m proving myself to the guys that I’m as tough (if not tougher) than they are.
So what was my injury this time? JC kicked me straight into the shin. He’s a soccer player/football player, and he kicked like any other kick except it was to my shin instead of the ball. No more than two minutes later, a bruise in the shape of the bottom of his shoe started appearing and that, obviously, can’t be good.
Now, it’s just touch sensitive without the bruise… I had a hard time finding a nice spot to sleep on, since I’d barely touch over my shin area and have this uber huge “burning sensation” (as I so well put it last night :P) occur.
At least it wasn’t a good kick to the head. :hopeful: Seriously, if I got hit in the head with the ball… I would no longer be conscious.
For some good news, I coloured my hair and re-highlighted it over the past weekend. :inlove: It’s now a lighter shade of brown with lots of auburn-y red goodness streaking throughout. My profile pic on my myspace (and in the section of myself here on this site) has a small preview of it, but when I get the chance I’ll add other pics. 
I’ve been incredibly apathetic lately. :reallyashamed: I’m blaming it on the cause of stress from the amounting schoolwork I’ve yet to finish and lack of social interaction, but there’s probably a deeper cause for the current emotion. I’m just going to be really glad when my cds arrive from Barnes & Noble: The Producers soundtrack, The Corpse Bride soundtrack and Haste the Day’s Burning Bridges album. Maybe Will Ferril and Nathan Lane’s singing will cheer me up. :music:

Ouch, I have been kicked in the shins a few times playing soccer :/ So I feel your pain, which is also why I always wear a shinguard

OUCH! I used to play soccer, and I’ve been kicked in the shins quite a few times. It definitely hurts A LOT! I hope it’s not too unbearable for you, though!
I love buying things from Barnes & Noble. They tore down the one by my house, which is really sad. But I’m moving to my own apartment next weekend, and there’s a Borders just down the block!

That’s got to suck. But I guess that shows how soccer has to be the best sport since we all get hit, smacked, kicked, and who knows what else but continue to play and love it… hehe
Glad you like my new layout. I spent hours.. and hours.. and hours.. working on everything. At least it was worth it.

I always have terrible trouble with comment-related plugins that require me to put some line in the comment loop; I can never seem to find the right spot.
